Job Description
As part of our international expansion, we are recruiting a Project Manager to lead our data center projects in Madrid and across Spain.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the full lifecycle of data center projects, from planning to handover.
- Managing project scope, cost, schedule, and risks to meet objectives.
- Coordinating engineering teams, site management, and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety, and contractual obligations.
- Monitoring progress and aligning procurement, subcontractors, and milestones.
- Delivering high-quality reporting and KPIs to senior management and clients.
- Conducting regular project and coordination meetings.
- Identifying risks, issues, and opportunities, and implementing corrective actions.
- Acting as the primary interface with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Candidate Profile
Hard Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong command of project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating international teams.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish is an asset.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership, autonomy, and accountability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and in multicultural environments.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in data centers, renewable energy, or mission-critical environments.
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
