Job Description
As part of our international growth, we are recruiting a Project Manager – Electrical Expert to lead data center projects in Milan and across Italy. You will oversee the design, coordination, and execution of complex electrical systems within large-scale critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the electrical scope of data center projects from design to commissioning.
- Overseeing the integration of high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervising subcontractors and suppliers for electrical works, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
- Reviewing and validating electrical designs, specifications, and installation drawings.
- Monitoring project progress (scope, schedule, budget) with a focus on electrical deliverables.
- Managing procurement activities for electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensuring full compliance with Italian and European electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Leading technical reviews, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
- Acting as the primary contact for clients on electrical engineering issues.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports, KPIs, and risk assessments.
Candidate Profile
Hard Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience in project management of electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution.
- Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities).
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office).
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Italian is a strong advantage.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to anticipate risks.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Nice to Have
- Experience with renewable energy integration and sustainable electrical design.
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
- Previous international or multicultural project exposure.
