Job Description

As part of our international growth, we are recruiting a Project Manager – Electrical Expert to lead data center projects in Milan and across Italy. You will oversee the design, coordination, and execution of complex electrical systems within large-scale critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the electrical scope of data center projects from design to commissioning.
• Overseeing the integration of high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Supervising subcontractors and suppliers for electrical works, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
• Reviewing and validating electrical designs, specifications, and installation drawings.
• Monitoring project progress (scope, schedule, budget) with a focus on electrical deliverables.
• Managing procurement activities for electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensuring full compliance with Italian and European electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Leading technical reviews, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Acting as the primary contact for clients on electrical engineering issues.
• Preparing and presenting project status reports, KPIs, and risk assessments.

Candidate Profile

Hard Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of proven experience in project management of electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution.
• Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities).
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office).
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Italian is a strong advantage.
